Heather Williams-Crenshaw, a highly skilled and creative entrepreneur, is the proud owner of The Girl Next Door salon. After graduating from the Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in 2007, she quickly identified her passion for the beauty industry, particularly the constant evolution and the perpetual learning opportunities it presented.

As a CEO, Heather manages her space with dedication, provides superior service to her clients, and leads a team of extraordinary professionals. Her keen attention to detail and ability to create unique styles and experiences for her clients set her apart in her field.

Launching her salon in 2009, Heather navigated the hardships and triumphs of business ownership from a young age. After losing her business partner, Ashley, in a tragic accident in 2010, Heather demonstrated remarkable resilience. Upholding the shared dream she had with Ashley, she successfully continued to grow their business, turning it into a thriving salon that touches many lives.

Always seeing herself as an open book, Heather encourages collaboration and mutual learning. She believes that multiple paths can lead to the same outcome and enjoys exploring various approaches to reach a solution. This collaborative and open-minded approach has become a cornerstone of her professional philosophy.

When she's not transforming looks in her salon or inspiring her team, Heather cherishes her time crafting and spending quality moments with her biggest supporter, her husband.

Heather's journey is a testament to her resilience, passion, and dedication. She continues to make a mark in the beauty industry while empowering others along the way.

Jamie

Stylist

Jamie started her hair journey at Laurel Technical Institute in 2010.

After graduation, Jamie joined The Girls Next Door with friend and fellow hairstylist and owner Heather Williams. Heather helped mentor Jamie to be the stylist she is today.

Jamie loves both cutting and coloring but her favorite is vivid colors as she loves the artistic freedom it creates. Jamie also has continued her education learning the craft of eyelash extensions which she is currently practicing to add as a new service. Alongside of eyelash extensions she also does lash lift and tints, facial waxing, and tape-in extensions.

Jamie is certified in the house color line Kaaral USA, Aqua Hair Extensions, Hotheads Hair Extensions, Brazilian Blowout, Pravava Master Colorist, Borboletta Eyelash Extensions, The Eyes on Cancer: Skin Cancer and Melanoma Awareness, and Barbacide sanitation.

Lindsay

Stylist

Originally from Greenville, Lindsay now resides in hermitage with her husband and beloved fur babies. After initially venturing into the world of education in 2012, Lindsay quickly decided to follow her true calling and transitioned to the cosmetology field and never looked back!

After graduating Laurel Technical Institute with her license in cosmetology and an associates degree in business. She dedicated 4 years of honing her skills and building her clientele before joining our team in 2019. Since then, she has continued to expand her expertise through various in-person and online classes covering a wide range of techniques and topics in the industry. She holds certifications with both Hotheads and Aqua Hair Extensions. 

Drawing on her background in education, Lindsay approaches her work with a focus on client consultation and education. She takes the time to truly listen to her clients needs and preferences, ensuring they leave her chair not only looking great but also equipped with the knowledge to maintain and care for their hair at home. 

Specializing in lived-in color, extensions, grey coverage and haircutting. Lindsay brings a diverse skill set to her clients. With her passion for her craft and education for her clients Lindsay continues to make her mark in our industry.
